A full remodel sounds chaotic until you see it as a story. Here's what actually happens, stage by stage.
The first conversation
You request a consultation. We listen to what's not working and talk honestly about scope, budget territory, and timing, with no pressure and no theatrics. (The Getting Started FAQ covers this stage.)
Planning with the budget in the room
Projects go wrong at this stage when plans get drawn with no price attached, contractors bid them, and the number lands 40% over budget, which triggers months of rework. We put the numbers beside the plan from the beginning, so the scope takes shape inside your budget. This is Step 1 and 2 of the Falcon Blueprint.
Everything decided before demolition
Selections (cabinets, tile, fixtures, flooring) get made and ordered up front. You sign off on a complete written scope, budget, and schedule. It's boring paperwork, and doing it now is what prevents dramatic phone calls later.
Construction
Demolition, structure, systems, and finishes happen in the right order, with a weekly update. Paul and Angelo Carrabba oversee the work together with a longtime trade partner who serves as project manager, and independent trade partners do the work.
The walkthrough and the years after
We walk the finished project room by room, fix what isn't right, and only then call it done. The work is backed by a 5-year warranty. See whole-home remodeling for the full-house version of this process.
For a sense of cost, start with the Cost & Investment Guide, then request a consultation. We work in Okatie, Bluffton, and Hilton Head.
