Kitchen Remodeling in the Lowcountry
The kitchen is where your family actually lives, and it's usually the room that shows its age first. A kitchen remodel done right gives you more storage, better light, real workspace, and a room you're proud to hand people coffee in.
Get real numbers for your project
Falcon Building Group is a family business owned by Angelo Carrabba and his son, Paul, and the family has been building for more than 40 years. Paul and Angelo oversee kitchens together with a longtime trade partner who serves as project manager. You get one plan, one budget, and one schedule.
This is for you if…
- You're planning a significant kitchen remodel with a new layout, cabinetry, counters, lighting, and flooring, not just a coat of paint.
- You want real numbers and a real timeline before demolition starts.
- You'd rather work with a family-owned local builder who coordinates the trade partners for you.
…and not for you if
- You're shopping purely for the lowest bid. We're rarely the cheapest quote, and we won't pretend to be.
- You need a single appliance swapped or one cabinet door fixed. A handyman will serve you better and cost you less.
The problems it solves
- A layout that made sense in 1995 but fights you every time you cook
- Not enough storage, counter space, or light
- A closed-off kitchen cut off from the rest of the house
- Worn cabinets, dated counters, and flooring past its useful life
What's included
- In-home consultation and space planning
- Cabinet, counter, tile, and fixture selections with our guidance
- Written scope, budget, and schedule before work begins
- Demolition, electrical, plumbing, and structural work as needed
- Cabinet and counter installation, tile, flooring, paint, and lighting
- A final walkthrough together before we call it done
How we build it: The Falcon Blueprint
The work follows the same four steps. Read the full process for the detailed version.
1.Listen & Plan
It starts with a conversation. We listen and work through options until the plan fits the way you actually live.
2.Transparent Scope & Budget
You'll know what you're buying, what it costs, and how long it takes before you commit. If the numbers don't work for you, we'd rather hear it now.
3.Build With Trusted Trade Partners
The work is done by independent trade partners, some of whom the family has worked with for many years. Falcon coordinates the schedule so you always know what comes next.
4.Walkthrough & Stand Behind It
A finished project is the only advertising we've ever really had, so we don't call one done until you agree it is. The work carries a 5-year warranty.
How long it takes
Most full kitchen remodels take 6 to 12 weeks of construction once materials arrive, plus 4 to 8 weeks of design and ordering up front. Before you commit, we'll give you a realistic schedule in writing, including how long you'll be without a working kitchen.
What to expect on cost
Kitchen budgets vary widely with scope, cabinetry grade, and whether walls move. Rather than quote a fantasy number, we explain the real cost drivers in our Cost & Investment Guide and put actual figures on your specific project after a consultation.
