Driveways Built on a Proper Base
A driveway is the first thing anyone sees at your home, and the first thing to crack, settle, and stain when it's built on a rushed base. Lowcountry soil is sandy, wet, and prone to movement, and it punishes shortcuts under concrete and pavers alike.
Get real numbers for your project
We build concrete and paver driveways the same way we build houses: prepare the ground correctly, use the right materials at the right thickness, and finish the edges cleanly. It costs a little more than the guy with a trailer full of bagged mix, but it stays flat.
This is for you if…
- Your existing driveway is cracked, settled, or stained beyond rescue.
- You're upgrading from plain concrete to pavers for curb appeal.
- You're adding parking, a turnaround, or a driveway extension.
…and not for you if
- You need a small crack sealed. A repair service is the economical call.
- You want gravel spread and nothing more.
The problems it solves
- Cracked, heaving, or sinking concrete
- A driveway too narrow or short for how your family actually parks
- Drainage that sends water toward the house
- Curb appeal that doesn't match the rest of the home
What's included
- Site evaluation, drainage planning, and layout
- Removal of the existing driveway where needed
- Compacted, properly graded base preparation
- Concrete placement or paver installation with edge restraints
- Clean joints, full cure times, and site cleanup
- Final walkthrough
How we build it: The Falcon Blueprint
The work follows the same four steps. Read the full process for the detailed version.
1.Listen & Plan
It starts with a conversation. We listen and work through options until the plan fits the way you actually live.
2.Transparent Scope & Budget
You'll know what you're buying, what it costs, and how long it takes before you commit. If the numbers don't work for you, we'd rather hear it now.
3.Build With Trusted Trade Partners
The work is done by independent trade partners, some of whom the family has worked with for many years. Falcon coordinates the schedule so you always know what comes next.
4.Walkthrough & Stand Behind It
A finished project is the only advertising we've ever really had, so we don't call one done until you agree it is. The work carries a 5-year warranty.
How long it takes
Most driveway projects take 3 to 7 working days, plus concrete cure time before you park on it. We'll tell you exactly when it's ready, and we won't let you rush it.
What to expect on cost
Concrete generally costs less up front; pavers cost more but repair invisibly and handle soil movement better. Size, removal, and drainage work drive the total. See the Cost & Investment Guide.
